Retail store chain Smiling Baby has started a new store in Ramanathapuram, a coastal town located in the south-east of Tamil Nadu. The retail outlet has more than 1,500 SKUs and has top-notch international and Indian brands such as Chicco, Hot Wheels, Barbie, Funskool, Bento, Apple Baby, 1st Step, Himalaya, and Toffyhouse and so on. The store essentially houses an all-inclusive collection of baby care products and maternity range for expectant and new mothers.
The store is spread over 550 sq ft with an additional storage area of 150 sq ft and includes a baby feeding room for nursing mothers. The other two franchise stores for the brand are in Coimbatore and a CoCo store (Company Owned Company Operated) of the retail chain is located in the Grand Square Mall, Velachery.
A one stop destination for parents to buy products in the range of baby care items, diapers, toys, games, stationery and many more for their children. Smiling Baby is planning to start 10 new franchisees for the FY 2019-20 across the tier-2 and 3 cities in the country.
The company is a retail concept that meets the needs of families with infants and kids between one month and five years of age. Smiling Baby is ideated and started by husband wife-duo Santhoshi Shriram and S. Shriram.
