Nigerian Diaper plant of Procter & Gamble to be shut down

p&gProcter & Gamble is reportedly going to shut down its largest Nigerian Diaper Plant in Agbara Industrial Estate, Lagos, just after one year of its inception. It was a multi-billion naira (Naira- Nigerian currency) business unit located in the Ogun State.
The plant was set up to manufacture its ‘Always’ and ‘Pampers’ brand in the Nigerian region. The Nigerian nonwoven product market has a strong competition as it has sundry choices for the consumers, from many leading brand names such as Kimberly-Clark, Hayat Kimya Group and so on.
