The UK- headquartered retailer has market presence in over 32 cities in India

One of the most renowned and esteemed toys retailer Hamleys has started a new store in Esplanade One Mall in Rasulgarh, Bhubhaneshwar. The brand celebrated the store launch with a two-day meet and greet event with popular characters and mascots- Hamley Bear, Hattie Bear, Chhota Bheem, Chutki and Emmet. The toys retailer Hamleys India had started its 75th store for the Indian market, in Ludhiana earlier this year.
The first store for the brand in South Asia and India was started in Mumbai in the year 2010 at Phoenix Mills. India now tops as the nation having the largest number of Hamleys stores across the world as there are about 32 cities in the country having these stores.
Hamleys has an extensive global market presence which was started in the year 1760 by William Hamley as “Noahs Ark” in High Holborn, London. It is one of the oldest and largest toys retailers which has marked its presence in 25 countries around the world. The flagship store in UK at Regent Street is set over seven floors, with more than 50,000 lines of toys with different categories of toys on each floor while its recently started largest worldwide flagship store is in Beijing spanning over 115,000sq ft.
