Evenflow, a Thrasio style e-commerce roll-up has stated aspirations of taking its babyproofing brand BabyPro to be an INR 100 crore business by 2025 growing at 200 percent y-o-y.
Started by former Uber executive Utsav Agarwal in 2021, Evenflow is an aggregator of third-party sellers on e-commerce spaces including Flipkart and Amazon. The business model of the company is hinged on acquiring online marketplace sellers in a range of USD 200k-1.5 million per brand and enabling them to scale up.
Speaking about the acquisition of BabyPro, Utsav Agarwal, said “BabyPro was our first acquisition and it is heartening to see the brand grow rapidly in the last five months. We expect the brand to become an INR 100 crore business over the next 3-4 years. The fact that the baby care products market in India is poised to grow by an incremental USD 26.3 billion during 2021-2025, progressing at a CAGR of over 11 percent gives us a lot of confidence to make BabyPro as the go-to brand for Indian parents.”
As published in the news daily’s report – moving ahead, the company is going to focus on product innovations and also look at entering overseas markets. As a part of Evenflow’s plan to make BabyPro a leading player in the baby care category, it is looking to expand its product portfolio into a dozen new categories including strollers, baby grooming sets, baby car seats, baby carriers, and toys.

BabyPro’s founder Rachita Agarwal is the only certified baby-proofer in India and has baby-proofed celebrity homes from the likes of Shilpa Shetty to Soha Ali Khan among others. Post-acquisition, Rachita has joined Evenflow as a full-time employee and would work around research and development and product innovations.
