The popular American toy retailer has started its seventh store for the Indian market

The global toys retailer- Toys “R” Us starts a new store in Phoenix Market City, Chennai. The launch was celebrated with amusing and recreational games and activities for kids, along with the meet and greet event with famous cartoon characters. For India, the company has two formats – Toys“R”Us and Babies“R”Us that is a one-stop destination for baby essentials and it is run by Tablez India which is a division of LuLu Group. Toys “R” Us had launched its store in Pune in January this year and the first store for the brand was started in 2017 in Bengaluru.
USA-headquartered Toys“R”Us, Inc. is an international toy, clothing, video game, and baby product retail brand which was founded in April 1948. It was in the 1980s that it had entered into the international market by starting its first international wholly-owned store in Canada and licensed operations in Singapore. Tablez India, part of LuLu Group International, has introduced leading global brands such as Cold Stone, Toys “R” Us, Springfield, women’secret, Galito’s & Bloomsbury’s in India.
