Funskool India has acquired the rights from Goliath Games to manufacture and distribute their board game ‘Sequence’ in India.
Netherlands-headquartered Goliath Games was established in 1980, and remains one of the few family-owned and run businesses in the toys and games industry.
In a press release, Mr. R Jeswant, CEO of Funskool India said, “We have always been a frontrunner in developing a catalogue of varied toys and games through an extensive focus on innovation and development. We believe this partnership will have a significant role in providing a unique synergy of strengths to build the brands further.”
The Indian toy manufacturer asserts that the association with Goliath Games is inspired by the Make in India initiative, as the company helps international toy manufacturers to make games in their Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certified factories across India.
