Bambo Nature is a European company based in Aabenraa, Denmark and is owned and operated by Abena, a family-owned manufacturer of healthcare solutions and related products. The manufacturing facility of Bambo Nature is in Denmark itself and from there it is distributed globally. The brand offers a range of environment friendly baby wipes, diapers, training pants, and skin care products.

Core philosophy
The core philosophy of the brand, is the sense of transparency that is there in the products and the materials that they use in its making, as Elissa Vazquez, Business Development Representative affirms that “Bambo Nature wants to be as transparent as possible when it comes to informing the customers about the ingredients and the procedure involved in making the final product. Nordic Swan certification for Bambo Nature
The Nordic Ecolabel or Nordic swan is the official sustainability ecolabel for the Nordic countries that was introduced by the Nordic Council of Ministers in 1989. She asserts that “we have certifications from swan, which is one of the esteemed certifications for a sustainable company. Having the Nordic Ecolabel means that the environmental impact of products throughout their entire life cycle—from raw material selection, to the manufacturing process, straight through to the disposal of the product have been examined and is proven to be sustainable.”
Other certifications
Bambo Nature has received certifications from ‘The Asthma & Allergy Association Denmark’, ‘FSC’ and ‘ECOCERT’ as well. This combination of certifications is the considerable assurance that Bambo Nature products are gentle and safe for the baby as well as for the environment.

The Asthma & Allergy Association Denmark-certified products mean that those products contain no fillers, perfumes or formaldehyde. The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is a nongovernment, nonprofit organization dedicated to promote responsible management of the world’s forests. Only businesses that meet each of the FSC’s 10 guidelines and associated criteria are considered for this certification. ECOCERT, the first certification body for natural and organic cosmetics, ensures that products meet high environmentally friendly standards, straight from ingredients to packaging. Only products with a minimum of 95% naturally sourced ingredients by weight are eligible for the certification.
