aha will produce and stream content for children by bringing an eight-episode animated show ‘MahaGanesha’ on its vertical – aha Kids in partnership with Green Gold Animation.

Telugu language OTT streaming platform aha has launched a dedicated segment for kids’ entertainment – aha Kids, with its first-ever animated original MahaGanesha. The eight-episode series has been produced by Green Gold Animation Pvt. Ltd. – a Hyderabad-based Indian animation company. This marks the first-ever association between aha and the animation house. The animation series is going to be released on September 10, commemorating the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi.
With aha Kids – the kids vertical of the video streaming service, the plan is to produce about 100 hours of content throughout the year to emphasize the importance of ‘our stories and our values’.
The show – MahaGanesha is an attempt to see the mythological story with a new lens and is enriched with striking visuals, and special effects that will fascinate and appeal to the kids and adults alike.
The episodes in the series are of the time duration of around 15 minutes, based on the legend of Vinayaka Chavithi, – showing a series of events highlighting the significance of the festivity. Right from the demon Gajasura’s penance to the birth of the elephant-headed God to the latter’s race with his brother Karthikeya to traverse three worlds and the moon’s curse, the series showcases the story of Vinayaka in captivating detail.
