Inchpaper launches its operations of delivering stationery items for students & parents at the doorstep

The startup is aiming to make the basic stationery items and learning aids accessible to students who have been learning at their homes.

An eCommerce start-up Inchpaper in stationery items space has launched its operation of delivering stationery items at the doorsteps in over 50 cities and towns across India. Amid the ongoing pandemic, when it is challenging and quite unsafe to step out of the house, Inchpaper aims to provide a full range of stationery items starting from eraser to various teaching-learning material for school, colleges, students, and parents, along with catering to the needs of working professionals and offices, at large.

The approximate size of books and stationery market of India is worth approximately 7.36 billion dollars. The Indian Stationery market is majorly distributed by the educational and office Stationery products, in which educational sector holds the major market with more than 58% revenue share.

Presently, the ecommerce portal is delivering the products in over 50 Tier I & II cities and towns like Delhi, Mumbai, Gurugram, Noida, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Lucknow, Bangalore, Pune, Amritsar, Hyderabad, Indore, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Dehradun, Surat, Patna, Ranchi, Trichy,Udaipur, Amritsar, Bhubaneswar and Chandigarh etc.

Started in June 2020 by young entrepreneurs Sonia Mehra Agarwal, Co-Founder & President, and Pulak Agarwal, Co-Founder & CEO, Inchpaper houses everything from basic stationery to the top of line products. It offers a comprehensive range of solutions from pencils, erasers to school teaching and learning aids for school and college going students and parents; in addition to catering to the needs of working professionals and offices/corporate as well.

The company is also planning to introduce the personalized and customized stationery. It also claims that it attends specific needs of customers by procuring items which may not be available on the website like a schoolbook set or birthday party favours or hampers directly through emails or phone calls.

In a short time, the company has developed a strong platform and network of logistics partners, suppliers, and quality range of stationery products, which enables them to serve to a much larger customer base with a vast range of products.
