The Himalaya Drug Company has introduced Himalaya Baby Hair Oil, which is specially formulated having natural ingredients for babies’ hair care. The product, according to the healthcare company, is free from any potentially harmful ingredients like mineral oil, alcohol, parabens, synthetic colour, and phthalates.
The Baby Hair Oil has a blend of herbs and natural ingredients such as Amla, Gotu kola, Bhringaraja, and Methi, to help nourish hair, and promote hair growth. These natural ingredients have specific benefits with respect to hair care, for instance, while Amla helps in strengthening hair and promoting hair growth, Gotu kola helps in improving hair density, Bhringaraja helps strengthen and darken hair, and Methi helps prevent hair loss and strengthen and moisturize hair.
Chakravarthi N V, business head, Himalaya Baby Care, in an interview with News Today, says that “We understand that babies have different needs. Hence, we at Himalaya, have invested years of research into each of our baby care products and developed them, keeping in mind babies’ sensitive hair and scalp.”
The Himalaya Drug Company entered the baby care category in 2004 with a range of products such as lotions, soap, powder, oil and diaper rash cream for infants. The Bengaluru-based firm has six business verticals spanning across Therapeutics, Personal Care, Wellness, Baby Care, For Moms, Animal Health and Nutrition.
