We have a highly efficient product design team that takes in the feedback from parents and incorporate that into the product development process.
“We’ve actually launched four products this year alone and we do have a few new product launches as well that will be coming out in 2019. Amongst these, one will be entry into a new product category for Nuna which is a baby carrier.”
MBT: How would you describe the key strengths of the brand?
BF: I would say that the major key strength of the company is what our tagline states, i.e. ‘Designed around your life’. The USP of our brand is that we offer products that will take you from infancy to toddler stage and beyond. We continue to develop different products focussing on the various needs of families with children. Keeping the functionality of our products in consideration, safety is of the utmost important to us at Nuna. And with stylish designs, the colour of our product range can be defined by neutral tints and shades that fit well within everybody’s homes.
MBT: What would you say about the future plans of Nuna?
BF: We’ve actually launched four products this year alone and we do have a few new product launches as well that will be coming out in 2019. Amongst these, one will be entry into a new product category for Nuna which is a baby carrier. We will also be launching a bedside sleeper that is designed for room sharing and is approved for overnight sleeping too.
“It has been a matter of great honour and prestige for us to recently receive the Red Dot design award for the DEMI Grow stroller. This stroller is really remarkable as it can allow up to 23 different modes, is very compact, not double-wide, making it to be a great product particularly for urban dwellers.”
MBT: What are the recent major developments in the existing product range of your brand?
BF: We increased the range of infant car seats offered by adding the PIPA lite and PIPA lite lx. All the infant car seats by Nuna come with a base that has the stability leg designed to reduce the rebound effect in a collision. We also launched the DEMI™ grow stroller in 2018 that expands from a single stroller to a double or a twin which makes it an all-inclusive purchase. It has been a matter of great honour and prestige for us to recently receive the Red Dot design award for the DEMI Grow stroller. This stroller is really remarkable as it can allow up to 23 different modes, is very compact, not double-wide, making it to be a great product particularly for urban dwellers. I would like to underline that all of our products are effectively designed to fit seamlessly in the lives of the parents.
