QPlay: Evolving tricycles that are both stylish and functional

QPlay develops and produces a range of children items: tricycles, scooters, balance bikes and bags. Headquartered in Mevissentraße, Köln, Germany; the brand offers evolutionary tricycles which have unique design and is incredibly comfortable. QPlay has partnered with Astar Marketing Pvt. Ltd. to bring and distribute its products in the Indian market.

QPlay Rito foldable trike
The foldable tricycle by QPlay has a number of useful features as it has a reclining seat, an adjustable parental bar, foldable footrest and an adjustable hood with UV protection. There are handlebar lock and pedal lock to ensure a safe and comfortable ride for the children and the trike can easily be fitted in the trunk of the car. The trike can be used by children from as young as 10 months to 5 years of age.
The Rito trike is quite versatile and adaptable as there are five different modes which could suit different growth stages of children- push mode, interactive push mode, push mode with footrest, bike mode with seat backrest and bike mode without backup. There are two buttons on the swivel seat to be used to switch to another mode to allow the child to face the mother or forward while riding. Apart from that, there is a high quality metal chassis, an adjustable telescopic push bar, harness with 3 safety locks, on/off free wheel system on the front wheel, rear tipper with storage bag and a breathable padded seat.

Suiting different cultural sensibilities and being affordable
Talking about the QPlay brand, Sergey Gogiberidze states “our chief value proposition with the brand is to make our products affordable to our customers. Our products are manufactured in China and are designed by our competent designing team in Germany. We earnestly make every effort to educate our partners and the customers about the functionality of our flagship product, i.e. the QPlay Rito tricycle.”
Astar Marketing Pvt. Ltd., founded by Deepesh Savla and Jigar Savla in 2011, is the representative and the distributor for QPlay products in the Indian market and the company is associated with various domestic and international brands to bring and distribute their respective products to India.

“We like to study and analyze different markets prior to entering them… We tend to customise our products keeping in mind the requirements of the consumers in different parts of the world.”

As pointing to the marketing strategies, he explains “with our brand, we intend to bring products to the markets that are aptly suiting the cultural sensibilities of different countries. We like to study and analyze different markets prior to entering them so that we are well aware of what works for a particular market. We tend to customise our products keeping in mind the requirements of the consumers in different parts of the world. I would like to mention that we are keen on knowing more about the Indian market as we strive to achieve acceptance for our products in India and we have partnered with Astar Marketing Pvt. Ltd. to sell the tricycles and other products by QPlay in the Indian market.”
